From May to August, Mississauga becomes the ultimate destination for fans and families alike. While the world’s eyes are on the region, we’re hosting a celebration of our own. One filled with international culture, elite dining, and non-stop action.

The Summer Festival Lineup

  • Carassauga Festival of Cultures (May 23–24): Canada’s largest multicultural festival. Kids can grab a “passport” to explore dozens of international pavilions across the city.

  • Mississauga Polish Days (June 5–6): A Celebration Square takeover featuring traditional folk dancing and pierogi.

  • Mississauga Halal Food Festival (June 12–13): A global culinary tour featuring a dedicated kids’ zone with games and shopping.

  • Taco Fest (June 27–28): The big debut at Port Credit Memorial Park with 150+ taco variations and live music.

  • JACKALOPE Mississauga (July 10–12): High-adrenaline action sports, including world-class skateboarding and bouldering.

  • RED FM Summer Bhangra Jam (July 18): A high-octane celebration of Punjabi culture and music.

  • Bollywood Monster Mashup (July 24–26): Interactive dance workshops and the “Monster Food” fusion experience.

Score Big with a Mississauga Outdoor Adventure

Explore the vibrant outdoors of Mississauga, where scenic parks, peaceful waterfronts, and picturesque trails invite visitors to enjoy nature’s beauty. A must-visit spot for outdoor lovers is Paddle On, offering a variety of equipment rentals including canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. With these options, you’ll be able to spend a serene day on the lake. 

For a relaxed day outdoors, pack a picnic and head to one of Mississauga’s many parks. Spread out a blanket, soak up the sun, and enjoy quality time with loved ones surrounded by greenery and fresh air. Those seeking adventure can hit the trails, immersing themselves in the natural landscapes Mississauga has to offer. Rattray Marsh Conservation Area offers the last remaining lakefront marsh of its kind in the area, along with breathtaking views of Lake Ontario.
