September Festivals in Mississauga You Don’t Want to Miss
Summer might be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the festivals are stopping anytime soon. This month, Mississauga is packed full of fun festivals, from cultural fests to the celebration of art and laughter with Art in the Park and the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival.
September’s festivals begin with the Navrang Navratri Festival Canada 2026. Taking place Friday, September 4 to September 7 at The International Centre, with special guests Atul Purohit, Geeta Rabari, and more, this event will be an energetic occasion of traditional Garba dance and cultural celebration.
The 2nd Annual Mississauga Moon and Lantern Festival is back from September 4 to 7 and is super stoked to bring you the best of lantern displays, Asian culture, mooncakes, and centuries old traditions. Its festive atmosphere shines strong with cultural performances, and diverse food vendors and shopping.
The Egyptian Coptic Festival is a free event at Celebration Square from September 5 to 6. It’s a vibrant celebration of culture and tradition through performances, music, artisanal vendors, and delicious Egyptian food.
The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival celebrates comedy and being in the great outdoors at Erindale Park from September 11 to 13. As one of the most unique festivals around, this one is not to be missed. You’ll laugh, you’ll eat, you’ll enjoy the fresh air, and you’ll definitely have a great time.
Tim Hortons South Side Shuffle (The 28th Annual Port Credit Blues and Jazz Festival) is a celebration of jazz and blues melodies as they serenade you across Port Credit Memorial Park. This festival takes place September 11 to 13 and includes a wide variety of musical talent, alongside food trucks and vendors.
