From March break activities to maple season, this month is packed with tons of exciting events for the whole family. Check out what’s happening In Mississauga to make this March a month to remember. 

Ongoing Events

  • Embrace the chilly weather with all the fun happening during Winter Magic at Celebration Square, including free skating, art installations, food trucks and more until March 16.
  • All year long, enjoy Saturday Family Fun at Bradley Museum, a free, relaxed afternoon drop-in featuring crafts and games that are perfect for kids and parents alike.
  • Learn how climate change is affecting our community, from rising temperatures and extreme weather events to disruptions in ecosystems, during Together for Tomorrow: Earth Days in Action at Bradley Museum.
  • Immerse yourself in the intricate and beautiful world of Indigenous beadwork at Bradley Museum’s exhibit Spirit Seeds until August 3.
  • From March 14 – 23, see 9 to 5 the Musical, the hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era on stage at the Meadowvale Theatre.

March 1 - 2:

  • March 1: Join Heritage Mississauga for its History Symposium 2025 at Clarke Memorial Hall, a full-day event featuring expert speakers covering engaging historical topics, from Indigenous history and the War of 1812 to early slavery in Upper Canada and the infamous Toronto Circus Riot.
  • March 1: Visit Hazel McCallion Central Library for the Seed Library Launch 2025 event featuring workshops, gardening experts and family-friendly activities.
  • March 1: Enjoy adults-only programming that combines history, hands-on activities and culinary traditions for a rich, interactive experience where participants can learn new skills connected to historic pastimes during More at the Museums happening at Benares Historic House.
  • March 1: Re-live the days of soda pop and drive-ins as Grease, The Concert performs some of the greatest songs of the 50s and 60s in an amazing, all-Canadian multi-media production at Meadowvale Theatre.
  • March 2: Shop for one-of-a-kind Victorian to mid-century modern gifts from over 80 vendors at The Sunday Antique Market at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
  • March 2: Join the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra for an evening of music as it performs The Unfinished at the Living Arts Centre.

  • March 13: Experience Jim Henson’s Fraggle Rock LIVE, the first-ever Fraggle Rock stage show featuring the characters of the beloved original Jim Henson series at the Living Arts Centre.
  • March 13: Experience the magic of cinema in the Living Arts Centre’s cozy screening room as the City of Mississauga presents REEL Thursdays: All We Imagine As Light, a monthly event celebrating diverse stories and themes in partnership with the TIFF Film Circuit.
  • March 15: Catch the future stars of the NBA as the Raptors 905 face off against the Windy City Bulls at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
  • March 15 – 16: Learn about the Indigenous origins of the maple harvest, experience the process of making maple syrup, indulge in pancakes with real maple syrup, and enjoy crafts, games and guided tours of the site during Maple Magic Festival 2025 at Bradley Museum.
