July Ongoing Events and Multi-Day Highlights

Watch the World Play is your way to never miss out on any of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ games on the big screens at Celebration Square. Cheer on your favourite teams and join in the community excitement.

First Friday Market takes place on July 3 in Streetsville. This summer event includes an open-air market containing local vendors, music, food, and a fantastic community atmosphere.

Summer Skies is a two-day event on July 4 and 5 celebrating dance, music, culture, and community in Streetsville Village Square.

Salsa In the Square happens every second Saturday in Streetsville Village Square. This months’ dates include July 11 and July 25. It is a great way to learn this hot Latin dance and meet some people.

Central Lions Farmers Market invites you every Wednesday throughout July to head on over to Celebration Square and get your shop on. Stock up on fresh, local produce, handcrafted goods, and more.

Port Credit Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Port Credit Memorial Library parking lot. Come on out and stock up on your favourite fresh and local produce and goods.

Legend of the Museum Comic Book and Exhibition is a multi-day event that runs from May until October at the Benares Historic House. This series features the Museums of Mississauga and how some artifacts are not quite what they seem.

On the Verandah Outdoor Concert Series 2026 is a free music series helping to connect music performers with music lovers. This is a multi-day event that runs from June until August at Benares Historic House.

A League of Our Own: Mississauga Sports Exhibition is a multi-date event that runs from April until September and highlights the role Mississauga plays in the world of sports. Head on over to Adamson Estate for this educational exhibition.

Streetsville Historic Walking Tour is a multi-date event that runs from May until October. July has two dates available, July 12 and July 29, highlighting Strolling Along Streetsville’s First Business District and Streetsville’s Historic Buildings, respectively.

Movie Night in The Square is a great way to spend an evening as a family. This ongoing event runs from June until September and takes place in Streetsville Village Square. July 12 will feature the movie Madagascar, a great film for those with young kids.

July Cultural Festivals and Celebrations

Jollof Fest Mississauga 2026 is a two-day event that runs from July 4 to July 5 at Erindale Park. With over 50 vendors, live music, cooking competitions, and all the Jollof you can eat, this is a festival not to be missed. Admission is free, but availability is limited; reserve your spot now.

Mississauga Rotary Ribfest 2026 is back in Mississauga from July 10 to 12 at Erin Mills Town Centre and is bringing all the smoky barbecue goodness with it. Get your ticket for a fun-packed weekend filled with droolworthy food, music, performances, and kids’ activities.

JACKALOPE MISSISSAUGA 2026 is an epic adrenaline-filled event of non-stop air-hovering tricks that takes place from July 10 until July 12, from 12:00 to 8:00 pm. Get your ticket to this free event and catch all the BMX and skateboarding vibes you can handle, alongside an energetic festival atmosphere.

A small but mighty way to celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community is Peel Pride 2026 at Community Common Park. This free event includes food, drinks, drag performances, story time, spoken word, a ballroom dance group, and more.

RED FM Summer Bhangra Jam 2026 is coming to Mississauga Celebration Square on July 18, from 12:00 until 11:00 pm. Get ready for a high-energy day featuring dance showcases, live music, and great culture and community spirit.

Don’t miss out on Bollywood Monster Mashup 2026 from July 24 to July 26, a free event at Celebration Square that is recognized as one of the biggest South Asian Festivals around. Enjoy a weekend of music, vendors, and lots of Bollywood energy.

Running from July 31 until August 1 is the longest-running multidisciplinary South Asian Arts Festival, known as the Mosaic Festival.  Head on to Celebration Square for this free festival that includes a singing competition, stage performances, a bazaar and food court, kids’ zone, and more.

Colombia en Mississauga Festival is a three-day event along the Credit River that will have you dancing, eating delicious Latino treats like empanadas, and singing authentic Colombian songs. Enjoy the music, experience the culture, and don’t miss the Colombian Parade on Sunday.

July 1-7 Events

July 1: Canada Celebrates FIFA World Cup 2026™ is coming to Mississauga Square One Shopping Centre for a day of soccer-related fun with mini pitch activities. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to celebrate the sport that brings the world together.

July 1: Streetsville Canada Day StreetFest is one of the local favourite ways to celebrate Canada’s birthday. Immerse yourself in the live music performances, eat the delicious cake, and stay for the end of night fireworks display. This is a free event that runs from 4:00 until 10:00 pm.

July 1: Another great and free way to celebrate Canada’s big day. Canada Day 2026 at Celebration Square runs from 4:00 until around 10:00 pm, when the fireworks finale ends. Don’t miss out on music, a soccer show, great food, and more in the heart of the city.

July 1: Celebrate Canada Day #INThePort! A great and free way to spend the day with the whole family. Port Credit brings it all, from a 40’ Ferris Wheel to amusement rides and games. Enjoy the live music, street performers, vendors, a parade, delicious food, and a fireworks spectacular to end the night.

July 3: Enjoy the return of Legends of Motown at the Living Arts Centre. It features a 16-piece cast of singers and musicians as they perform music from the best of Motown, all choreographed in a harmonious presentation that will leave you wanting more.

July 8-24

July 11: A great way to shop and support the local community is The Summer Social Presented by The Craft Market at the Vic Johnston Community Centre from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.

July 18: Music of the World: A Tribute to the Beautiful Game is your chance to get lost in a musical journey of global songs from many of the world’s football/soccer nations at the Living Arts Centre.

July 18: Come on out to Streetsville Comicon at Vic Johnston Community Centre, where you’ll fill all your collectible needs, from sports cards to video games, comic books, and more.

July 18: Astronomy in Action is your chance to immerse yourself in the mysteries of the universe. Experience a 360-degree show that will transport you to distant galaxies.

July 18: Join in the fun of a Summer Market at the Small Arms Inspection Building from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Shop from 40 local businesses, enjoy a tea and coffee bar and a convo catch-up corner. Kids will love getting their face painted and kids’ corner.

July 19: Come and see Alexis Martinez at Port Credit Memorial Park as he performs songs across multiple genres from 6:30 until 8:00 pm.

July 24: Support four talented artists on the autism spectrum who make up ASD Band at Streetsville Village Square. This is a free event, perfect for the whole family.

July 25 - 31

July 25: Josh Warren’s Groove Circus is the perfect event to see this phenom perform music from jazz to rock and soul.

July 26: Don’t miss out on SHOUT! The British Invasion Band as they come to Port Credit Memorial Park and put on an incredible night of music celebrating hits from the 60s.

July 31: Bree Taylor puts on an incredible performance at Streetsville Village Square. Come show your support for this Ontario-based country rock artist as she showcases powerful music anthems.
