  • From July 2 – 27, youth, adults and seniors can explore different artistic mediums at Summer Arts Mississauga, a unique program offering an enriching creative education experience at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
  • This summer, until August 24, join Learn to Fish 2025, a fun and engaging program combining a one-hour practical teaching session with one hour of supervised hands-on fishing at Lake Aquitaine Park and Lakefront Promenade.
  • Meet local firefighters, explore a fire truck, enjoy free snacks, learn about fire safety and cool off at Splash into Safety with Mississauga Fire Services happening Wednesdays from July 9 – August 20 at Mississauga parks.
  • All year long, enjoy Family Fun at Bradley Museum on Saturdays and Sundays, a free, relaxed afternoon drop-in featuring crafts and games that are perfect for kids and parents alike.
  • Immerse yourself in the intricate and beautiful world of Indigenous beadwork at Bradley Museum’s exhibit Spirit Seeds until August 3.
  • On select Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings until October 4, learn about Port Credit’s rich heritage with Historian Richard Collins during a Historic Walking Tour.
  • Explore Mississauga’s rich musical landscape at Bradley Museum’s latest exhibition, A City in Tune, a celebration of music in Mississauga highlighting the diverse voices, cultures, and communities that have shaped its sound, from local legends to grassroots movements.
  • On Sundays until October 26, visit the Small Arms Inspection Building for the popular Lakeview Farmers’ Market to shop from local farmers and artisans while listening to live music.
  • Shop local at Celebration Square with the Lions Farmers Market from June 4 – October 15.
  • Visit Celebration Square for Fresh Air Fitness presented by TD, an inspiring outdoor workout happening in the Square every Wednesday evening from June 4 – September 10.

JULY 1 - 6

  • July 3: Learn garden care and maintenance fundamentals for the Summer season at the Homegrown Mississauga Summer Season Garden Planning Workshop at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre.
  • July 4: Visit the heart of Streetsville as it transforms into a vibrant destination where you can shop for handcrafted goods, taste delicious small-batch eats, and enjoy live music while you stroll the village for First Friday in The ‘Ville at Streetsville Village Square.
  • July 4: See Shallum Asher Xavier, one of South Asia’s most celebrated guitarists, composers, and music producers, in a free summer concert series live performance at Streetsville Village Square.
  • July 5: Enjoy a free summer concert series performance by Luai Ahmaro, a singer and musician focused on reviving Levantine folkloric music and electronic Dabke, at Cooksville Four Corners.
  • July 5 – 6: Visit Streetsville Village Square for two magical evenings of music and dancing at Sampradaya Dance Creations Summer Skies Festival.
  • July 6: Take part in free fishing at Lake Aquitaine and meet with experts to learn about the park’s natural features and stormwater management pond during Family Fishing Day 2025.
  • July 6: Join the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra for Symphony in the Park, a free summer concert series performance at Port Credit Memorial Park.

  • July 11 – 13: Experience one of the world’s biggest action sports festivals as JACKALOPE Mississauga returns to Celebration Square, bringing thrilling street/vert skateboarding & bouldering competitions with international pros, BASE jumpers, breaking & Moto X demos, food trucks, pop-up shops, and more.
  • July 11 – 13: Support the Trillium Health Partners Foundation and other local charities at the Mississauga Rotary Ribfest, the biggest backyard BBQ in Mississauga, featuring non-stop entertainment and food vendors to suit all tastes, happening at Erin Mills Town Centre.
