Transit & Access: Your Gateway to the Games

Mississauga is the most strategically located city for fans attending the summer 2026 matches. Whether you are landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport or commuting to Toronto Stadium (at Exhibition Place), our transit infrastructure is designed to get you to the heart of the action quickly and affordably.

UP Express

For fans staying near the airport, the UP Express is your “game-day assist.” This dedicated rail link connects Toronto Pearson (YYZ) directly to Union Station in downtown Toronto in just 28 minutes.

  • Tournament Service: During the tournament, the UP Express will run every 15 minutes, with extended late-night hours to accommodate late matches and fan celebrations.

  • Fares: An adult one-way fare is $12.35 (or $9.25 when you tap with PRESTO, credit, or debit). Children under 12 ride for free, making it the premier choice for families.

GO Transit

The GO Train is the secret weapon for Mississauga visitors. From June 10 to July 5, Metrolinx is boosting service on the Lakeshore West line to every 15 minutes, ensuring you never have to worry about a schedule.

  • Direct to the Pitch: If you are staying in Port Credit, board at the Port Credit GO Station. In just 20 minutes, you will arrive at Exhibition GO Station, which is located directly at the gates of the stadium and the FIFA Fan Festival™ at Fort York.

  • City Centre Access: If you are staying near Square One, take the MiWay bus to Cooksville GO or the Milton Line for a direct connection to Union Station.

Local Travel: MiWay

Getting around Mississauga is simple thanks to MiWay, the city’s comprehensive bus network.

  • Seamless Payments: You don’t need to buy special tickets; simply tap your credit card, debit card, or phone on the reader when you board any MiWay bus or GO Train.
  • Free Transfers: Your fare is valid for two hours, allowing you to transfer between MiWay and the TTC (Toronto’s subway and streetcars) at no extra cost.
