July 4 @ 11:00 am July 5 @ 8:00 pm

This year’s theme, “Jollof Across Borders: Flavours of the Diaspora,” brings together the rich culinary traditions of West Africa and the global diaspora, creating an unforgettable two-day festival of food, music, and culture.

Note: Parking is limited at Erindale Park. Attendees can use paid visitor parking at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), with suggested lots including P11, P4, and P8. Lot P11 offers direct access to Erindale Park via the Culham Trail.

The festival invites guests to attend on Saturday, July 4, 2026, and Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM for an in-person experience filled with delicious dishes, vibrant entertainment, and incredible community energy. Whether someone is a lifelong jollof fan or trying it for the first time, the event offers a chance to explore flavours from across borders.

The highlight of the weekend is the legendary Jollof War Cooking Competition on Sunday, July 5, from 2 PM to 4 PM, where talented contestants representing different West African countries compete for the 2026 Jollof Crown. Sierra Leone, Liberia, The Gambia, Nigeria, Ghana, and Senegal will go head-to-head—giving attendees the chance to taste, judge, and join the debate.

Guests can also expect live music, cultural performances, cooking competitions, interactive activities, exciting giveaways, and a wide variety of food vendors serving jollof and other delicious African and diaspora dishes.

Friends, family, and appetites are all welcome—because Jollof Fest Mississauga 2026 brings culture, food, and community together for an unforgettable summer celebration.
