Tired of the same old, ordinary outings? How does a day filled with out-of-this-world adventures, the coolest shops and delicious indulgences sound? Get ready to bust boredom while experiencing extraordinary memories in the making – we’ve got the perfect plan for a kid-approved excursion. With our curated Mississauga Yes Day itinerary, every activity is a new adventure that will have your kids saying yes to fantastic family moments, over and over again.

Day 1

Morning

No need for a plane to travel to faraway lands. At Jurassic World: The Exhibition you’ll immediately be transported to Isla Nebular, where you can interact with the closest thing to real dinosaurs you’ll ever find. Dig for fossils, pet Bumpy the baby ankylosaurus and hear the roar of the mighty T-Rex as you explore this immersive exhibit.

Afternoon

After your Jurassic journey, take a break for lunch at The Food District, located at Square One, a short walk or drive away. There are multiple options for a light meal, such as Patties Express, alongside sit-down options including Farzi Café and The District Kitchen.

After lunch, visit some of the kid-favourite shops in Square One. If you’re looking for something special to help them remember your excursion, say yes to a stop at Build-a-Bear Workshop to create the perfect stuffed friend, or grab some cool collectables at Conspiracy Comics. If you’re shopping with teens, check out Throwback Vault for stylish vintage outfits or grab a unique gift at Urban Behaviour.

Once you’re done wandering through the shops, make you way over to The Rec Room and challenge your family to some exciting games. Grab your game pass and battle the kids in the arcade before besting them in a round of bowling.

Evening

Finish off your Yes Day with a delicious, kid-approved dinner at Goodfellas Wood Oven Pizza. The menu has plenty of pizza options for even the pickiest of eaters. For something more exciting, order the spicy Vesuvio Pizza which comes out topped in a sparkler.

Day 2

Morning

Get ready for another Yes Day with a visit to Buka Maranga Café for a dine-in brunch. While adults will love the wellness-centred menu offerings, the build-your-own bagel sandwich and smoothie offerings will be a hit with kids. Make sure to grab some hot drinks to bring with you as you continue your outing.

Next, soak in the scenery during a winter walk at one of Mississauga’s many picturesque outdoor areas, Credit Meadows Park, an urban wilderness. A former homestead property, the grounds are perfect for a unique nature walk among mature trees and along the Credit River.

Afternoon

Shop for some of the coolest brands for kids, like Adidas, GAP, H&M, Roots and much more at Heartland Town Centre. While you’re there, don’t miss out on a visit to the only Crumbl Cookies location in Ontario. These viral cookies, with a weekly revolving menu, are sure to be such a hit that you’ll need to pack an extra bag for all the cool points you’ll win.

Evening

Wrap up your Yes Day at Celebration Square with a fantastic experience – go skating! Glide on the ice, soaking in the lively atmosphere and the twinkling lights around the rink. Grab some hot cocoa or snacks from nearby vendors to enjoy while you skate, adding a cozy touch to your fun-filled day. It’s the perfect way to end your adventure with a dash of winter charm and plenty of smiles.
