- Learn how climate change is affecting our community, from rising temperatures and extreme weather events to disruptions in ecosystems, during Together for Tomorrow: Earth Days in Action at Bradley Museum.
- Immerse yourself in the intricate and beautiful world of Indigenous beadwork at Bradley Museum’s exhibit Spirit Seeds until August 3.
- From April 25 – May 4, experience a musical performance based on Charles Dickens’s Oliver Twist as Theatre Unlimited Performing Arts presents Oliver!, the story of a trusting and hope-filled child who dares to ask for more at Meadowvale Theatre.
- Until May 9, youth ages 12 to 24 can enjoy free activities including art, fitness, sports and workshops as part of Mississauga Youth Weeks at multiple locations throughout the city.
- Explore Mississauga’s rich musical landscape at Bradley Museum’s latest exhibition, A City in Tune, a celebration of music in Mississauga highlighting the diverse voices, cultures, and communities that have shaped its sound, from local legends to grassroots movements.

- May 2: Experience Brooklyn MC Talib Kweli as he brings his top-tier lyricism to the Living Arts Centre.
- May 3: Join the Mississauga Festival Choir and the Mississauga Symphony for Northern Reflection, an evening of music from Canada and other Arctic Circle countries celebrating the North, including a multimedia performance of Eriks Esenvalds’ Nordic Light, at the Living Arts Centre.
- May 3: Join fellow cyclists for the Toronto Pearson Launch Ride, a 12-km ride exploring the scenic trails and area near the airport, part of the City’s Community Rides series, starting at Max Ward Park.
- May 3: Experience the magic of the Canadian Chamber Orchestra in Adaptive Concert: Canadian Chamber Orchestra in collaboration with Xenia Concerts, an accessible concert that includes classical classics, film and video game music, pop arrangements, and more, at the Living Arts Centre.
- May 4: Reminisce about classic songs from film with the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra as they perform Movies at the Symphony at the Living Arts Centre.
- May 4: Treat Mom to some retail therapy and personalized mementos at a private shopping event hosted at Holt Renfrew in Square One Shopping Centre. Tickets are $50.

- May 5: Learn about garden preparation and setup, including crop planning, building healthy soil and seed starting and transplanting, at the Homegrown Mississauga Spring Season Garden Planning Workshop at Meadowvale Community Centre.
- May 7: Come to the Tree Giveaway at Malton Community Centre to pick up a free native tree and attend a nature walk.
- May 8: Experience the magic of cinema in the Living Arts Centre’s cozy screening room as the City of Mississauga presents REEL Thursdays (in partnership with Film Circuit presented by TIFF) each month.
- May 8-11: Run the World Summit presents: The Mother’s Day Pop-Up Market. Shop from 16 women-led small businesses at Square One Shopping Centre in honour of the women who raised us.
- May 9: Enjoy the songs of country music’s most iconic duo, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, as Real Love, Kenny and Dolly Tribute takes the stage at Meadowvale Theatre.
- May 10: See The Ambiance Singers, a talented group of women performing a variety of musical styles from show tunes and jazz to pop and gospel in their Mother’s Day concert, A Million Dreams, at the Living Arts Centre.
- May 10: Join BikeFest Mississauga 2025 for the ultimate kickoff to the cycling season, a free community event filled with fun and interactive cycling activities for all ages, happening at Celebration Square.
- May 10: Learn about the importance of one of the City’s most remarkable pieces of land as City of Mississauga Forestry staff host a scenic outing, Guided Walk: Hancock Woodlands.

- May 11: Shop for unique, historic finds among over 80 curated vendors at The Sunday Antique Market, a monthly market located at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
- May 11: Treat yourself or your mom to a delicious gourmet meal at the Mother’s Day Buffet Brunch prepared by the amazing chefs at LIVE Restaurant or BraeBen Golf Course.
- May 11: Dress up in your favourite prince, princess, or character costume and head to Meadowvale Theatre for an exciting performance of Frozen in Time, a magical production filled with storytelling and singing along to all your favourite songs.

- May 14: See one of the most beloved Lebanese comedians as the FADY RAIDY Comedy Show Canadian tour kicks off in Mississauga at the Living Arts Centre.
- May 14: Youth ages 14-21 are invited to go behind the scenes at Benares Historic House with tours and hands-on, creative activities during the first of 2025’s Youth Nights at the Museum
- May 16: See one of the most hilarious Italian-Canadian entertainers capturing the quirks of Italian culture, family dynamics, and everyday life as the Giuseppethemc Dec anni Di Fanni Comedy Tour comes to the Meadowvale Theatre.
- May 16 – 18: Experience the 7th Annual Discover Egypt Festival, an extraordinary multi-generational celebration of Egyptian heritage, culture, and community spirit featuring live performances, food, vendors and family activities at Celebration Square.
- May 17 – 18: Prepare for a shopping experience like no other! Nostalgic Market is returning to Square One! Shop vintage clothing, jewelry, games, and more, while listening to live music.

- May 18: Join the Canadian Association of Chinese Performing Arts for Ode to Peace at the Living Arts Centre, a music and dance epic that marks the 80th anniversary of World War II and honours those who fought for peace and justice.

- May 24: Experience a collaborative concert bringing together Vietnamese and Canadian singers, artists, and bands, including Payadora Tango Ensemble and friends, during Exodus – Dan Chim Viet at the Living Arts Centre.
- May 24: Enjoy some of the most incredible works of Mozart and Shostakovich performed by the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and guest violinist Corey Gemmell as they present Masterworks – Symphonic Grandeur at the Living Arts Centre.
- May 24: Join in the festivities at Vesak: Buddha’s Birthday Celebration 2025, a community event bringing over 20 Buddhist temples together to commemorate Buddha, featuring a vibrant parade, prayers and multicultural performances at Celebration Square.
- May 24 – 25: Celebrate the 40th anniversary of one of Mississauga’s most iconic and Canada’s largest multicultural festivals as Carassauga returns with five locations showcasing 22 cultural pavilions, entertainment on 11 stages, and hundreds of vendors.

- May 29: Celebrate 50 years since the release of the iconic ‘Wish You Were Here’ album as UK Pink Floyd Experience recreates the atmosphere of Floyd live in a brand new show for 2025 at the Living Arts Centre.
- May 31: Families with kids ages five and up are invited to Latin Arts & Crafts for Kids to learn about Latin American Culture through creative activities at Spanish4You Canada Spanish School.
- May 31: See the scenic sights in one of the city’s most historic neighbourhoods alongside fellow cyclists during the Streetsville Community Ride 2025 starting at Rivergrove Community Centre.
- May 31: Go to bat for everyone who has been affected by cancer at Canada’s first-ever street cricket fundraiser, Cricket to Conquer Cancer, hosted by the Princess Margaret Foundation at Celebration Square.
- May 31: Canadian car culture returns to Mississauga and Square One with the Driven Aftermarket Car Show – Canada’s largest event dedicated to car culture and aftermarket parts and services.
