Ongoing Events

  • Learn about Black history in Mississauga through the stories of young Caribbean Canadians who shaped a distinct Canadian culture here in the 1980s at the special exhibition created by a BIPOC Community Curator, Generation X Marks the Spot: Black History in Mississauga at the Bradley Museum.
  • From April 16 – May 16, visit the City of Mississauga’s Annual Resident Artist Exhibition, Ephemera, to see the artists’ showcase at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
  • Discover the mutually beneficial and cyclical relationship between community and parks and greenspaces of Mississauga at the Bradley Museum’s special exhibition Meet Me at the Park from April 25 – July 21.
  • From April 29 – May 10, young people can take part in free activities including sports, art and more throughout the city during Mississauga Youths Weeks.
  • Explore climate change and climate action in Mississauga in the exhibition We Are Resilient at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre until June 30.

May 1 - 5

  • May 3: Direct from Las Vegas, hear some of rock n’ roll and disco’s biggest hits like “Staying Alive” at The Australian Bee Gees Show at the Living Arts Centre.
  • May 4: Join the Mississauga Festival Choir as it celebrates its 40th anniversary with Musical Milestones, a special performance presenting a program of highlights from its musical past and new works at the Living Arts Centre.
  • May 5: Visit the Sunday Antique Market to shop for unique finds in this beloved once-a-month pop-up at the Small Arms Inspection Building.
  • May 5: Help raise important funds for transitional supportive housing facility Amargh House and join the Spring Strides 3K Walk starting at 1654 Lakeshore Rd. W.
  • May 5: Celebrate the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra’s amazing milestone at the 10th Anniversary Concert, where current members will be joined by alumni for a spectacular performance at the Living Arts Centre.
  • May 5: Hear one of the most monumental works in the symphonic repertoire as the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra presents Alpine Symphony at the Living Arts Centre. 
  • May 5: Enjoy some of classic rock’s greatest hits during the Legendary Guitar Heroes Tribute to guitar legends Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, and Stevie Ray Vaughan at Rama Gaming House.

  • May 23 – 25: Have a good time listening to live music while supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities during the indoor music festival the McBowl Concert Series at Classic Bowl.
  • May 24: Visit Studio.89 to paint with your pet during their guided event, Pups & Canvas: A Doggy and Owner Paint Night.
  • May 24 – 26: Celebrate cultural diversity through food, entertainment, educational displays and family activities as Mississauga’s beloved Carassauga Festival of Cultures 2024 celebrates its 39th year! Grab your passport and explore 25 cultural passports at 7 locations throughout the city.
