Ongoing Events

  • Learn about Black history in Mississauga through the stories of young Caribbean Canadians who shaped a distinctly Canadian culture here in the 1980s at the special exhibition created by a BIPOC Community Curator, Generation X Marks the Spot: Black History in Mississauga at the Bradley Museum.
  • Discover the mutually beneficial and cyclical relationship between community and parks and greenspaces of Mississauga at the Bradley Museum’s special exhibition Meet Me at the Park from April 25 – July 21.
  • Explore climate change and climate action in Mississauga in the exhibition We Are Resilient at Burnhamthorpe Community Centre until June 30.
  • From May 31 to June 3, celebrate country music at the CMAOntario Festival & Awards Weekend. Experience free concerts, a street fair, tailgate parties and conference sessions for the musically minded at venues throughout the city.
  • Visit Streetsville from May 31 – June 2 for the iconic Bread and Honey Festival. Enjoy live entertainment across multiple stages, including children’s performers, plus a market, family activities and delicious bread and honey tastings.
  • On Sundays from May 26 – October 27, visit the Small Arms Inspection Build for the popular Lakeview Farmers Market to shop from local farmers and artisans while listening to live music.
  • Shop local at Celebration Square with the Lions Farmers Market from June 5 – October 16.
  • Visit Celebration Square for Fresh Air Fitness presented by TD, an inspiring outdoor workout happening in the Square every Wednesday evening from June 5 – September 11.
  • Find beautifully crafted home goods, jewellery and one-of-a-kind pieces at the Lakeview Artisan Market, happening at the Small Arms Inspection Building on select Sundays from May 26 – October 27.

  • June 7: Support local women entrepreneurs while celebrating summer and community at the MIAG Family Fun Day & Women’s Business Bazaar, including live performers, food, family activities and a showcase of women-owned businesses.
  • June 7: Visit the Benares Historic House to enjoy the free music series, On the Verandah Outdoor Music Concerts 2024. This week’s featured performer is the Mississauga Temple Band.
  • June 8: Bring your pup to Streetsville as it transforms into Dogsville for a day of tail-wagging good fun, featuring a pet-centric marketplace, live music and lots of dog fun.
  • June 8: Visit Clarkson for an afternoon of fun featuring bouncy castles, kids’ activities, entertainment, treats, fitness classes and more at Clarkson Village Live! hosted by the Clarkson BIA.
  • June 8: Head to Celebration Square for Mississauga Polish Day to celebrate and share Polish culture, traditions and achievements.
  • June 9: See a custom automotive showcase, competitions, live music and more at the Import Culture 2024 Season Opener at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
  • June 9: Visit the Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto and step into a world of tranquillity and taste at the Buddha’s Light Vegetarian Food Fair, featuring cultural performances, family-friendly games, prizes, a chance to participate in the meaningful “Bathing the Buddha” ritual and, of course, plenty of delicious food.

June 10 - 16

  • June 13 – 16: Experience a high-octane show wherein a 1950s-obsessed adolescent falls asleep and dreams of living in this revolutionary era at the captivating Cirque Italia Water Circus under the big top at the Dixie Outlet Mall parking lot.
  • June 14: Visit the Benares Historic House to enjoy the free music series, On the Verandah Outdoor Music Concerts 2024. This week’s featured performer is Age of Reason.
  • June 14: Join Mississauga-based band Arlene & The People at The Rec Room for their EP Release celebrating their debut album, EVER ONWARD BELIEVER.
  • June 15: Journey through the timeless melodies of Pakistan and India spanning from the 1940s to the present day at Sounds of the East with Ankita and Saad at the Maja Prentice Theatre.
  • June 15: enjoy historic food samples, crafts, self-guided tours of Benares Historic House and live music at Blooms & Berries Festival 2024.
  • June 16: Get ready for hilarious dad jokes and mystical magic performances as Magic Dads – A Family Magic Show Comes to Mississauga.
