From world championships to worldwide superstars, Mississauga’s event venues are bustling in February. Here are the most happening February events to fill your calendar with culture, art and entertainment.

Learn how you can take climate action at this compelling free exhibit, We Are Resilient, inspired by the City of Mississauga’s Climate Change Action Plan, featuring photographs and stories created by Mississauga resdents, perspectives from international scientific leaders.
  • Catch future NBA stars of the Raptors 905 for a home game at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
  • Root on the future NHL stars of the Mississauga Steelheads during a home game at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
  • Explore the historic Franklin Expedition through the lens of Inuit traditional knowledge in this free interactive exhibit at the Bradley Museum, The Ones We Met: Inuit Traditional Knowledge and the Franklin Expedition.
  • Explore Black histories not taught in schools in this special exhibit at Bradley Museum, Unearth Uncover, developed by Students in the Black Student Association and Social Justice classes at Cawthra Park Secondary School.
  • February 1st - 5th

    • February 1: Enjoy one of Canada’s most beloved singer-songwriters during An Evening with Jann Arden at the Living Arts Centre. 
    • February 3: Hear poignant and uplifting new stories about the people of “Africville” told by Juno award winner Joe Sealy along with Jackie Richardson and the Nathaniel Dett Chorale in Africville Stories at the Living Arts Centre. 
    • February 3-5: Experience Roald Dahl’s classic children’s tale, Matilda, brought to life on stage at the Meadowvale Theatre. 
    • February 4: Getting ready for your big day? Meet and get inspired by hand-picked wedding vendors at the WedWell Show happening at the Small Arms Inspection Building. 
    • February 4: Shop for antique treasures from Victorian to mid-century modern eras among over 80 vendors from Ontario and Quebec as the iconic monthly shopping event, the St. Lawrence Market Sunday Antique Market, moves to the historic Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga.

    February 6th - 12th

    • February 9-12: Experience Roald Dahl’s classic children’s tale, Matilda, brought to life on stage at the Meadowvale Theatre. 
    • February 10: Join accomplished Canadian musicians Shannon Butcher and Cat Bernardi, both from Mississauga, for A Night of Jazz at the Living Arts Centre. 
    • February 11: Enjoy a classic opera performed by the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra as they perform music from The Barber of Seville at the Living Arts Centre.

    February 13th - 20th

    • February 17: Go back in time to the 1960’s as BeatleMania Revisited recreates the songs that made the Beatles famous.
    • February 17-20: Have some free family fun outdoors at Celebration Square’s Family Day Weekend 2023. Take part in the dinosaur takeover with some roaring good fun including Jurassic activities, ice skating and a delicious food truck line-up. 
    • February 18: Learn about ecological restoration efforts during the Windrush Woods Guided Walk with City of Mississauga forestry staff, including discussion about natural heritage as well as current invasive species management. 

    February 21st - 26th

    • February 23: Experience the diversity of African arts as illuminated by Cirque Kalabante – Afrique en Cirque at the Living Arts Centre, featuring acrobatic performances accompanied by musicians. 
    • February 24: Shop local Black-owned businesses, hear from community historians, and celebrate Black excellence at the Black History Month Market hosted by the New Youth Council at the Small Arms Inspection Building. 
    • February 25: Enjoy an evening of art and fashion at the annual showcase Fashion Circuit Series – Unmasked at the Small Arms Inspection Building. 
    • February 25 – 26: Cheer on local athletes as they go head to head with international legends of indoor rowing at the 2023 World Rowing Indoor Championships at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
