  • Down the street, stop at the world-famous Carlo’s Bakery in Port Credit – a must-try spot for Port Credit visitors and fans of the “Cake Boss.” Grab a sweet treat like the iconic rainbow cake slice or a tasty, authentic cannoli, to go. TIP: Using the Sauga Savings Pass, when you buy one chocolate cannoli, the second is free.
  • Once you’re loaded up with snacks, walk for five minutes down Lakeshore Road to Port Credit Memorial Park for a morning of fun in the fresh air. Located near the Credit River, you can relax on a picnic table while enjoying your baked goods, then stroll along the water. Afterward, kids will have fun playing in the playground or using the sports facilities including a skate park and basketball nets.
  • Next, walk two minutes down Lakeshore along the Credit River to see the iconic Port Credit Lighthouse. Venture up to the deck for incredible views of the harbour.
  • Continue your outdoor adventure with a seven-minute walk to the nearby J.C. Saddington Park. Get your camera ready for some family photos in front of the beautiful Lake Ontario shoreline. For more park fun, there is another playground here, along with picturesque trails.
