What’s Happening in Mississauga this June

This June, Mississauga is jam-packed with fun festivals and summer events. You’ll find many of the events match the warmth of the season, from summer markets and berry festivals, to the famous Bread and Honey Festival and the highly anticipated Taco Fest. Discover what makes the city so great by checking out everything it has to offer this month. 

June Ongoing Events and Multi-Day Highlights

The weather is warm and with the temperature increase comes the return of the Central Lions Farmers Market every Wednesday, starting June 3 until October at Celebration Square. Come on out and get the freshest produce and artisanal goods in a welcoming atmosphere.

Come experience A League of Our Own: Mississauga Sports Exhibition, an ongoing event with multiple days available in June at Adamson Estate.  Learn more about Mississauga’s sporting history up close and personal.

Move your body with Fresh Air Fitness presented by TD every Wednesday evening throughout the summer starting June 3 until September 9. Led by qualified City of Mississauga Fitness Centre instructors, you’re in for a great high-energy fitness class, from yoga to Zumba, total body, and more.

The First Friday Market is another returning event for the summer, running from June through to August, as the namesake says, on the first Friday of each month in Streetsville. Shop local vendors with live music and soak up the fun atmosphere. Don’t forget to get your picture at the Snaptique Boler photo booth while you’re there.

Soccer season is upon us, and if the bar isn’t your scene, why not head over to Celebration Square for match-day viewing with like-minded fans at the Watch the World Play events. From June 11 to July 19, don’t miss your chance to catch all the excitement. You can find the screening schedule here.

On June 6, June 10, June 20, and June 26, Clarkson has the Strawberry Stroll, Lakeshore Rd. West and Clarkson Rd. North (East Side). Learn the stories behind the streets in these historic walks through the neighbourhood.

Enjoy fresh produce and exciting local vendors at the Port Credit Farmers Market starting its season June 6 and returning every Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm alongside the calming and beautiful Credit River.

June Cultural Festivals and Celebrations

It’s the festival everyone is abuzz about: The Bread and Honey Festival. This three-day event takes place in Streetsville and is loaded with fun events, including a new car show, lots of music, a fairway, food, and fun for the whole family.

Get ready for some polka and pierogies at Mississauga Polish Days, a free event at Celebration Square from June 5 to June 6. Highlights from this annual event include traditional Polish food and dancing, beer gardens, a children’s village with activities, and cultural exhibits.

Halal Expo Canada 2026 is a two-day event, June 10-11, and is set as a B2B event dedicated to showcasing the Halal lifestyle industry. Experience live cooking demos, educational seminars, and informative exhibits to break your way into the latest Halal industry innovations. Tickets are required.

It’s the second edition of the Canadian Halal Exhibition (CHE) at the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre (formerly Paramount Fine Foods Centre) that will run from June 12 to June 14. Expect halal food vendors, amusement rides, a children’s play area, live performances, and vendors to shop and explore.

Love everything Halal? Good, because the Mississauga Halal Food Festival takes place June 12 to June 13 at Celebration Square. This is a free event that combines TV personalities, food, DJs, live bands, cultural dance performances, and more.

Blooms & Berries Craft Market 2026 is here at Benares Historic House to help you explore local handmade and homegrown goods. While this is a free event, non-perishable food donations are appreciated. Come out to this two-day event from June 13 – 14, and explore everything blooms and berries.

A free event for those who are curious and want to learn more about Egypt. This Discover Egypt Festival is a free event at Celebration Square from June 19 to June 20 where you can explore authentic Egyptian cuisine, live music and dance, and shop vendors for one-of-a-kind finds.

Come out on June 20 to Saigon Park and celebrate the 2026 Saigon Park Mississauga Festival. Enjoy the culture, cuisine, and music of everything Vietnamese.

National Indigenous Peoples Day takes place on June 21 at Celebration Square and is a time to honour and recognize the creativity and story of the Indigenous nation across Canada.

Live your best life at the Living with Wellness Arts Festival 2026 this summer at Celebration Square. From June 26 to 27, learn about holistic healing, check out local vendors in the wellness realm, and celebrate community spirit.

Possibly the most anticipated festival of June is Taco Fest. This inaugural Mississauga event takes place at Port Credit Memorial Park on June 27-28 and is expected to be epic. With Mexican flavours at its finest, live music, cocktails, and a live energy, this could be the event of the summer.

June 1-7 Events

June 2: Meadowvale Theatre presents Iona C.S.S: There Is A Time, an arts dance program of dancers between grades 9-12.

June 4: Thats Dancing 2026 welcomes to this recital featuring the students from the Mississauga School of Dance with a time of either 5:00 – 5:45 pm or 7:00 – 8:35 pm.

June 4: The Monarch Ball is the inaugural gala to help support the Peel Children’s Aid Foundation. Get your tickets for a magical night of cocktails, live entertainment, and your chance to help the kids.

June 5: Artistic Edge Dance Company’s 15th Anniversary Showcase invites you to celebrate the best of the dancers in their annual recital.

June 6-7: Let’s Dance brings you a pleasant evening or afternoon showing of a combination of dance, including ballet, acro, contemporary, and so much more.

June 8-15 Events

June 8: Studio 24 Dance Company Live! Come out and enjoy the year end recital celebrating all their hard work put in through the year.

June 11: Enjoy A New DAEI 15th Anniversary Showcase where dancers will showcase their skills in a variety of dance genres including hip hop, acro, and lyrical.

June 12: It’s the Love to Dance 2026 Dance Recital, and you’re welcome to come to one of two showings, 5:00 pm or 7:00 pm, to celebrate the hard work the dancers have put in over the past year.

June 13: TDS Dance Space Showcase 2026 is celebrating the end of the dance year with an afternoon of dance from all of the students.

June 15 and 16: Celebrating almost 20 years of dance is brought together with the Danceworks 2026 Mainstage Recital, an opportunity to showcase different varieties of dance from ages 2+.

June 16-23 Events

June 18 and 19: Revival Dance Company Chapter 8 invites you to celebrate the dancers in an unforgettable evening as they showcase their skills in a choreographed program.

June 18: The MARTYS 2026 is a special night in Mississauga to celebrate those in the arts.  Join in the fun in this 31st annual event at the Mississauga Convention Centre and help honour top creative talent in a variety of art disciplines, from music to visual, dance to film, and more.

June 20 and 21: Come out and see your legendary dancer at Legends on the Dance Floor as they showcase their skills and talents across the stage.

June 20: Summer is all about fresh fruit, and berries are no exception. That is why Berry Bash 2026 is an event in Clarkson’s Community Church not to be missed. It’s a great way to spend the afternoon with strawberry face painting, treats, live music, an inflatable slide, and more.

June 24-30 Events

June 23: Easy Summer 2026 Dance Show brings the dance season to a close in this wonderful showcase of talented dancers.

June 25: It’s the 13th annual I.D.A International Dance Academy recital. Come on out and support the dancers as they put on a grand showcase of movement set to the music of Tchaikovsky.  

June 27: Sampradaya Dance Academy – Annual Recital 2026 celebrates the dancers in pieces from the Bharatanatyam repertoire. Enjoy an afternoon that showcases the dancers’ skills and hard work over the season.  

June 27: TEDxMississauga 2026 – Ripple Effects at the Maja Prentice Theatre unites those looking to think outside the box and reshape the world through stories, talks, and the willingness to have meaningful conversations.

June 28: Sweet Rides Classic Car Show 2026 invites you to get your sweet ride on and spend a day admiring classic cars amid music, BBQ, and activities for the kids.
