After searching high and low for good savoury meat pies in the GTA, long-time pals Patrick and Mike decided to make some themselves—and they were kind enough to share.

That was 2013, and now The Pie Commission boasts three locations and legions of devoted fans, who are hooked on the chain’s flaky all-butter pastry and wholesome ingredients.

The Pie Commission specializes in individual-sized (5-inch) pies in mouth-watering flavours that range from Beef ’n Beer to Butter Chicken, and if you want a legit Brit-inspired experience, you’ll opt for a side of “chips” (fries).

There’s also a rotating selection of seasonal dessert pies like Fruit Crumble and Coconut to satisfy your sweet tooth.
