Just north of Toronto Pearson International Airport is the historic Village of Malton, originally a farming community established in 1819. The area transformed into an aviation community by the early 1940s after the construction of Malton Airport—predecessor to today’s airport. Home to Canada’s historic Avro Arrow, Malton continues to be a hot spot for aviation enthusiasts. It has cultivated a community rich in international flare, bringing the world into Mississauga.
