We invite you to visit the Heritage Resource Centre at The Grange, or send us your inquiries relating to the rich history and heritage of Mississauga! The Heritage Resource Centre is a public office providing heritage resources, research assistance and services, as well providing information on the history and heritage of the City of Mississauga.

Since moving to The Grange in 2004, the Heritage Resource Centre has grown steadily, and we have also seen our annual inquiry totals grow as well. In 2011 we received well over 400 public inquiries on a wide array of topics.

Through the Heritage Resource Centre at The Grange, Heritage Mississauga provides:

  • Introduction and networking opportunities with the wider heritage community
  • Comprehensive research assistance
  • Local history, historical geography and heritage resources
  • Assisted community research
  • Consultation with a historian in connection with your research
  • Summer employment opportunities for university students
  • Special research projects
  • Heritage publications
  • Outreach presentations

“The Grange”, the home of Heritage Mississauga, is located 1921 Dundas St. West. However, the driveway and parking lot access for our offices is off of a side street, Sir John’s Homestead.
