Watch as the foliage gets reflected in the waves while you sail along Lake Ontario on a charter cruise. Or, get up close to nature by renting a canoe or kayak and paddling along the scenic Credit River.

Head out on the Greens

Mississauga’s golf course lawns may be plush and green, but they’re a wonderful spot to enjoy the outdoors and soak in views of the changing leaves. Lakeview Golf Course in particular is renowned as one of the most picturesque courses in the GTA, featuring stunning mature trees, so you can see the sights while enjoying a couple of rounds.

Take a Bike Tour

Grab a cycling map and spend a day biking the city’s best trails through scenic natural areas including parks and nature preserves. Lake Aquitaine Park is one of many beloved spots for cycling due to its access to the Lake Aquitaine trail.

Enjoy a Downtown Hidden Gem

This little-known spot features a beautifully manicured garden including trees and shrubbery that become incredibly vibrant in the Autumn. Pack a lunch or grab a hot drink and grab a seat on one of the shaded benches while you enjoy the scenery.

Enjoy a Historic Estate

A favourite of photographers, the Adamson Estate not only features eye-catching heritage architecture, it’s also surrounded by old growth trees. Make sure to visit the barn on the grounds – the perfect backdrop for a Fall photoshoot.

Plan a Spa Day

If you’re looking to treat yourself to a truly special day – with a special view – this Autumn, book a getaway to the Glenerin Inn and Spa. Located in the midst of lush foliage, you’ll have beautiful views of the Fall colours while indulging in some relaxation. Bonus: take advantage of the Ontario Staycation Tax Credit when you book a stay at the Inn.
