DESCRIPTION:A night of rhythm\, roots and recognition. \n\n\n\nCelebrate Indigenous culture\, music\, and tradition on June 21st at Celebration Square\, including a host of exciting indigenous voices\, and featuring a powerful headline performance by Tanya Tagaq – Polaris Music Prize & JUNO award-winning Inuk throat singer known for her raw\, genre-defying sound. \n\n\n\nAll programming in collaboration with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. \n\n\n\nSome of the most dynamic Indigenous voices in Canada take the saugaLIVE Stage for an evening of powerful music and storytelling. From traditional hand drumming to genre-blending throat singing\, this lineup will move you – mind\, body and spirit.
