DESCRIPTION:It’s back! The Streetsville BIA is excited to announce the return of our Community Car Show in partnership with the Streetsville Legion Branch 139. \n\n\n\nThis year we will be hosting our Car Show on Saturday\, September 7th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. New this year we’ve added two additional lots to showcase even more cars as well as vendors. Grab a bite from Nox Wine Bar or Taco Cat who will both be on site selling delicious food and enjoy a licensed bar provided by The Legion. \n\n\n\nGuests can come down to 101 Church St. in Mississauga (Streetsville) to see a variety of classic and unique cars on display. Enjoy live music by River North from 12pm – 3pm.  There will be free activities for little car enthusiasts including temporary tattoos provided by Skintricate Tattoo Company\, crafts\, and face painting. Make sure you vote for your favourite car. The winner will receive dinner for two to a restaurant in the Village of your choice.* \n\n\n\nThis is a free community event supporting The Streetsville Legion and Eden Food for Change. Please bring a donation to help Eden Food for Change. DESCRIPTION:n September 28th Melanoma Canada will host the 2nd annual Smash Out Skin Cancer Celebrity Pickleball Tournament at One Health Clubs in Mississauga with Billy Baldwin and Chynna Phillips.  \nThis best-of-three-match tournament raises funds to support Melanoma Canada’s patient support services and the newly established Sun Guardians Grant Program. Through this grant program\, Melanoma Canada will provide sun safety tools and resources including sunscreen\, UPF shirts\, hats\, shade structures\, tents\, umbrellas\, and more to camps\, daycares\, schools\, and recreation programs across the country that help support underserved kids and youth.   \n  Here’s what you can expect: \n Don’t miss your shot! Join us for a day of fun and friendly competition that helps raise awareness and support for the melanoma and skin cancer community. \nHere’s what to expect: \n\nMeet our celebrity team\, Billy Baldwin and Chynna Phillips\n\n\n\n\nCompete in a minimum of three 30-minute matches: Teams will play against others of the same skill level).\n\n\n\n\nPlayers of all ages and skill levels are welcome\n\n\nTop 3 fundraising teams play a bonus round with and against our celebrity team\n\n\nIndulge in a light breakfast and lunch to fuel your gameplay.\n\n\nEnjoy two tickets to the Pickle Party: A cocktail reception and awards ceremony after the tournament. Additional guest tickets can be purchased for $200 with a $100 tax receipt.  \n\nParticipation Details:    \nRegistration is free! To qualify to participate on tournament day\, each team of 2 players is required to raise a minimum of $1\,000. Register your team today.  \n\nPerks – Each qualified team will receive a tournament swag bag\, breakfast and lunch at the event\, and 2 tickets to the Pickle Party\, on top of that when you’re not playing enjoy the use of the One Health Club facilities which include gym\, pool\, squash\, and more.
