Learn more about the actions that were inspired by the incident.\n\nNo Place \n\nBradley Museum\, Anchorage Gallery from September 21 to December 18.\nCurated by Arezu Salamzadeh\, No Place relates to what it means to desire proximity to a place and identity outside one’s own\, and to bridge notions of identity\, place\, and desire.\nFor this installation\, these themes will be explored through the landscapes and myths of the American Southwest\, featuring custom sculptures of saloon doors\, horses\, and more.\nGet excited for a three-part drag karaoke series from October to December\, led by Arezu’s drag persona Rolls Rice.\n\nPanel discussion\nDreamland \n\nSmall Arms Inspection Building on August 31 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.\nCurated by Hibah Mian\, Dreamland poses the question: “Is it possible to exist in two places at one time?” which illustrates new ways to understand the passage of one space to another\, the move from a home to a house\, while learning stories of trauma and transformation.\nLearn more and register for the panel discussion.\n\nShare this

DESCRIPTION:Opening at the gallery Saturday\, November 25th from 11am – 4pm! \nJoin us for the Saturday opening event for our miniature exhibition\, Bijoux (little jewels). We will showcase artwork under 30×30 inches created by our gallery artists. These pieces will make excellent gifts or great additions to your collection. Original pieces in acrylic\, oil\, mixed media\, collage\, and small sculptural objects will be shown. Reach out to your loved ones this holiday season with a one-of-a-kind work of art that speaks to their individuality. \nWe will host a live performance by local musicians Sonority Sisters\, Clare Semes and Kelly Zimba Lukic. The performance is written and composed by Clare\, Kelly\, and five other Toronto-based composers. The music stitches together six diverse communities in Toronto\, with each composer having 2 minutes to share their perspective through their music. \nThis unique listening experience will occur between 12-1 p.m. at the gallery during the opening event!
