DESCRIPTION:The Mosaic Festival is the longest-running multidisciplinary South Asian arts festival in the Greater Toronto Area. Held annually at Mississauga Celebration Square\, it is a vibrant\, free\, two-day celebration of South Asian heritage\, featuring a high-energy mix of international headliners\, local talent\, and immersive cultural experiences.Event Highlights \n\n\n\nMosaic Rising Star: A popular singing competition where emerging artists compete for a chance to perform with the festival headliners \n\n\n\nMain Stage Performances: Expect non-stop entertainment including Bollywood superstars\, Sufi singers\, folk music\, and classical South Asian dance (Kathak\, Bharatanatyam) alongside modern fusion acts. \n\n\n\nRock The Coliseum (RTC): A dedicated “festival within a festival” at the Amphitheatre\, showcasing independent music\, alternative rock\, and local youth bands. \n\n\n\nThe Bazaar & Food Court: A sprawling marketplace featuring authentic South Asian street food\, traditional clothing\, jewelry\, and henna (mehndi) artists. \n\n\n\nKids’ Zone: Free interactive workshops\, including pottery wheel demonstrations and arts and crafts\, designed for families.
