Visitors will embark on an unforgettable nocturnal journey where they’ll get to explore a site spread across 600\,000 square feet\, equivalent to the size of 10 football fields\, filled with 20\,000 luminous structures built with over 20 million sparkling LEDs. \nExtended to April 9th\, you can take a carousel ride in a European-inspired town square\, walk through a safari created with hundreds of glowing animal structures\, turn a corner and suddenly become immersed in an extraterrestrial universe where you can dance to fun music with funky little aliens. DESCRIPTION:You are invited to a community art workshop series in Mississauga\, as part of the Lakeview Village Discovery Centre Artists-In-Residence Program\, in partnership with Artscape Atelier. \nThe first 3 workshops are happening during March Break\, so sign up and come by for thoughtful creative activities and Indigenous knowledge sharing opportunities! \n*Limited spots available. Please reserve your tickets to save your spot. We will not exceed the capacity of each workshop\, but will have a waitlist in case any cancellations occur.* \nThe below artists will be sharing their Indigenous knowledge in a number of thoughtful art workshops\, all levels are welcome! \n*** \nArtists\, Naomi Smith (Black Tulip Designs) and Pandora Wilhelm (Mulberry Design & Engravings) are this years artists-in-residence\, and will be holding a variety of exciting and inspiring community art workshops inspired by their Indigenous knowledge and our connection to water\, in a series of six workshops total (three workshops per artist). \nThese workshops are geared to older Youth and adults (recommended age 13-15+) and parents/guardians! This event is in person indoors at the Discovery Centre Gallery. Please note that all youth (under 18 years old) require to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event (guardian/parent).
