Spring has finally arrived, and with a new season comes new sights, shows and special events. Hop into Spring in Mississauga and check out all the fun the season has to offer.

Celebrate Special Occasions

If you celebrate Easter or Ramadan, there are lots of fun events happening throughout the city. 

  • Spend an evening with the symphony at MSO: The Music of Easter on April 1, listening to classics from composers such as Bach, Hadyn and many more. 
  • Go for an epic Easter egg hunt at Amazing Adventures Playland’s Wolfedale and Argentia locations on April 7. 
  • Enjoy a FREE festival of food, colours and culture at the GTA Ramadan Festival and Food Bazaar on April 1 and 2, including shopping plus lots of free kids activities. 

Have Fun with the Whole Family

Listing to flying friends, get up close to ferocious beasts or just have some good old-fashioned fun at these can’t-miss family events happening this Spring. 

  • Visit the Riverwood Conservancy for a leisurely nature walk at the Spring Birding event on April 17 and learn about the unique songs and calls of local birdlife. 
  • Go back to prehistoric times at the Jurassic World Exhibition and explore Isla Nebular as you get up close to dinosaurs, from freshly-hatched newborns to the mighty giant Brachiosaurus and the ferocious T-Rex. 
  • Take a trip around the world at the annual multicultural festival Carassauga from May 26-28.
  • Head to Streetsville from June 2-4 for the annual Bread and Honey Festival, featuring a carnival, live performances, games, food trucks and lots of family-friendly activities.
